Riding Dirt in Wyoming

The birds are starting to paint the landscape with their intertwined wings as the wind guides their kaleidoscopic dance of spring mating. I wonder if the birds hear our couch springs flexing as we get up for the first time in months and head out into the garage. Garages and shops are clinking and clanking as we dust off the tools that keep our bicycles running. They hear the garage door open, and see us washing our bikes and lubing our chains and they wax poetic about how spring is here, β€œthe mountain bikers are starting to shake off the cabin fever, spring must be here.” Get ready people. Training starts today.
